15.03.2010 // by Angela SamsonIt always irritates me when I hear people say, when talking about elections and politics in general, "What's the point, nothing ever changes" Of course nothing will, if that is the attitude that is taken.
The sad truth is, that if only people would realize how powerful they really are, especially when they stand together.
A good but rather trivial example was what happened two weeks before Christmas 2009, when someone posted an article on Facebook asking people to buy a download of music "Rage against the Machine" to stop Simon Cowell from X Factor from monopolising the Christmas pop charts, as he had done in the past.
People were fed up and decided to take back some power and it worked. 500 000 people supported this request.
So if people can do something like this for a piece of music. Imagine what can be done to change British politics if the same passion was applied!! CHANGE, IS IN OUR HANDS!!
So endeth my sermon!
