Residents in Maidenhead have their say

16.03.2010 // by Sam Wilson

On Sunday I spent the day in Maidenhead with local volunteers Rodney and Hashim, we were bang smack in the centre of the town speaking to local people who were out and about.

Although it was a bit quiet at times, the reaction we received from people was really positive. People stopped at the stall and talked to us about their views on our current government, the political system and what they wanted to see changed.

Local Liberal Democract PPC Tony Hill also came along, he took the opportunity to sign the POWER2010 pledge (pictured below) and chat with us about the campaign.

This week we have lots going on in the South East; on Saturday there are street stalls in Slough and Crawley, then on Sunday we are going to be in Brighton.

If you would like to get involved in any of the events going on in the South East during the campaign then get in touch with me via email on sam@power2010.org.uk.
