09.03.2010 // by Annika NorenOn one of the most spring-like days so far this year ...
We took the campaign to SOAS University in London on Friday 1st of March. The sun was shining on us as we were talking to students at SOAS and Birkbeck, urging them to sign the Power pledge.
Many of the students study politics and were keen to discuss the campaign with us. I found myself involved in some really interesting discussions on the all of the five reforms.
The reform that most people felt strongly about was the scrapping of ID cards. Even those who said they knew nothing about politics had an opinion on ID cards and agreed that they are a threat to our integrity.
It was great to hear that so many students agree with the pledge and want to see a real change in politics.
