27.11.2009 // by GuestThis idea comes from Verity in Haywards Heath:
What's the big idea?:
I am seriously concerned about the recent (unballotted) ministerial decision to create a database of details of all 11 million children in the UK (ContactPoint). I do not see that the government has any right to do this; I think it is an infringement of my children's liberty; I do not think it will safeguard them. Does anyone know what I can do to prevent my children's details from being added to this database? Or from halting its creation? I believe there was an opt-out choice from the NHS database (which, like the ID card scheme has proved both more difficult and much more expensive to implement than the government first thought).
Why is this change important to you?:
Infringement of my children's liberty
