What's the big idea?:
The current interpretation of "consultation" used by government and industry is make your decision and then perform a "consultation" excercise and then go ahead with your decision. This must be changed to make consultation a reality.
Why is this change important to you?:
This behaviour is antithetical to democracy and not only is applied by governments but also political parties who no longer really represent their members.
