05.10.2009 // by GuestThis idea comes from George in Hampshire:
What's the big idea?:
This country is becoming more of a 'Big Brother' place by the minute. Police powers must be curbed to allow the law abiding public to voice their concerns without intimidation by FIT squads, high court injunctions and bail restrictions. The police are using these powers in a very high handed manner to suppress any freedom of speech.
Why is this change important to you?:
I want to continue to live in a country where people can freely voice their views without fear of being photographed and put on a police computer. The laws are too lax and are being used in a manner that they were not designed to do. There is frequent intimidation and misuse of these powers. I expect that I am probably being monitored as I type away!!
