05.10.2009 // by GuestThis idea comes from Maureen in Somerset:
What's the big idea?:
After the expenses scandal MP's second homes have been somewhat of an issue. How about using part of the Olympic village (after the Olympics of course) to house the MP's who need accommodation in London. It comes with modern facilities, the tax payer has already put in a fair portion of the money towards it and it will have high speed rail links to the centre of London.
Why is this change important to you?:
MP's should gain no advantage from their expenses, nor should they feel that they are being punished. This would give all sides a fair solution and remove any chance of abuse of the system.
