What's the big idea?:
For each local authority to hold a monthly Leader's/Mayor's question time, which would be televised live on its website & then put on You Tube
Why is this change important to you?:
The weekly Prime Ministers Question Time sessions at the House of Commons are a crucial element of holding central government to account.
I believe that seeing who our local government leaders are, and having them publicly defend and explain their council's actions would be a good way to strengthen local democracy.
