16.02.2010 // by Floella BenjaminI voted for 'Fixed term Parliaments' as it would eliminate the guessing game we find ourselves in at the moment.
It will also save all the Political Parties money because of the uncertainty of when to start spending on campaigning. We all know how much the Labour party lost on the election that never was.
So let's stop the gambling, media hype, public anxiety, apathy and voter fatigue this causes and have fixed term Parliaments.
Floella Benjamin, OBE is a broadcaster and children's campaigner.
