30.11.2009 // by Guy AitchisonAs the giant ticking clock on our homepage makes clear there's just a matter of hours left to submit your ideas for reforming UK democracy to POWER2010.
We've had nearly 4000 ideas submitted already - an incredible response - and you can read and discuss some of the best of them here.
If you haven't yet submitted your idea for change then please do so now - it's your last chance. And if you have submitted yours, I'm sure there's more ideas where that came from - share them now whilst there's still time!
We'll then take all of the ideas submitted and feed them into a representative assembly of 200 citizens from across the UK who will boil them down to a manageable shortlist for the public to vote on. It's then up to the British public to choose the 5 reforms our democracy most desperately needs in a national vote.
Our regional organisers, local activists, and the entire POWER2010 movement will then work to make sure every candidate at the next election commits to a new politics.
That way we'll make sure the next Parliament delivers the reforms we need.
